By default, a DID ("My DID") has been pre-created for you. This DID can be used for creating your first issuance or verification template.
If you need additional DIDs, you can create them by navigating to the DIDs section and clicking Create DID.
When creating a new DID, you’ll need to fill in and select the information required:
Alias: Name your DID for easy reference in the future.
DID Method: A DID method defines how the DID is created (the format and structure), how you can verify and update information linked to that DID and where the DID is stored.
You can request that the DIDs associated with your organization be listed in Gataca’s and EBSI’s public Trusted Registries.
To register your DID in a Trusted Registry, submit a ticket. Please note that DID registrations are subject to approval by Gataca.
